JESUS takes us as his people, and He is the LORD of our GOD

Exodus 6:7

[7] I will claim you as my own people, and I will be your GOD. Then you will know that I am the LORD your GOD who has freed you from your oppression in Egypt.

Question: Who is LORD our GOD ?

JESUS:

Matthew 28:18

[18] Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.

John 20:28

[28] “My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.

Philippians 2:9-11

[9] Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, [11] and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

He was there in the beginning:

He lived

He died

He was buried

He was raised to life

He lives forevermore

It is JESUS who take us as his own people:

We are chosen people of JESUS

We are GOD'S special possession

We belong to JESUS

JESUS purchased us with his blood

JESUS wants us to he our GOD:

Loves us with an everlasting love

Cares for us

Leads us

Preserves us

Rebukes and discipline us

Are we willing to have JESUS as our LORD?
